Firearm "Transfer"

What does a “transfer” mean?

It means that you decided to purchase a firearm from a dealer or private party, and you would like us to help you to fulfill the legal requirements to get the firearm to you. If you cannot pass a background investigation, I’d suggest not proceeding with trying to acquire a firearm.

Of course, we would always appreciate if you would give us the opportunity to sell you the firearms from our inventory or through our connections to manufacturers and distributors.

However, we are more than ecstatic to assist you with a transfer as well since we might not have access to a certain firearm or have a competitive price.

Also, if you win an online auction for a new or used firearm from a place like GunBroker or Guns.com we are happy to facilitate the transfer to you

How much do you charge for a transfer?

Incoming transfer: Oregon State Background check fee is a $40 transfer fee for the first item, $10 for each item after.

Outgoing transfer: $20 transfer fee per item plus actual shipping charges. Shipping charges vary depending on if we use USPS or UPS and how high the insurance coverage requested is.

When can I pick up my transferred firearm?

We will contact you after we receive and process the transfer.

  • Please allow 2-3 business days for us to process your transfer.
  • The Background once initiated be instantaneous or take up to 3-4 weeks depending on the “Queue”
